Finance we arrange

Business finance from £5k to £2m

Six ways to fund a UK business. Each one explains how it works, what lenders look for and who it suits.

Asset finance

Buy the equipment now, pay over time

Hire purchase and leasing for vehicles, plant and machinery, new or used. The asset secures the finance, so you keep your cash and credit lines free for running the business.

Check eligibility

Amount
£5,000 to £2,000,000
Term
1 to 7 years
Deposit
Often 0–20%, plus VAT on hire purchase
Security
The asset itself

Hire purchase, finance lease, operating lease

  • HGVs, vans, trailers and company fleets
  • CNC machines, press brakes, lasers, injection moulders
  • Plant, forklifts, telehandlers and attachments
  • Used equipment from dealers or private sellers
Example scenario

A haulier trading for eight years adds two tractor units at £85,000 each. With a 10% deposit, the rest goes on hire purchase over five years, and the units are on the road within a fortnight of the order.

Asset refinance

Release cash from equipment you already own

If your vehicles or machinery are paid off, or nearly paid off, a lender can advance money against them. You keep using the kit and repay monthly. It's often the quickest way to raise a lump sum.
